A while ago, we were hearing buzz about the DJI Mini 5 Pro. Now, it looks like DJI is also working on the regular Mini 5. There are fresh rumors saying that the DJI Mini 5 will be launching soon, and it's going to bring a few nice upgrades over the previous Pro model. Let’s go over everything we’ve heard about the DJI Mini 5 so far.
Also, let’s not forget that the camera might get a big bump. Rumors say it could have a 1-inch sensor instead of the Mini 4 Pro’s 1/1.3-inch one. This could make a noticeable difference in image quality, especially in low light. Plus, some sources say it could fly for up to 50 minutes! That’s a serious improvement over Mini 4 Pro’s 34-minute flight time.
DJI Mini 5 Overview Rumor
The DJI Mini 5 is most likely going to be the successor of the Mini 4 Pro. But with a Mini 5 Pro also on the horizon, it's unclear which model is the true successor. DJI really needs to clarify this for us. Reports claim the anticipated Mini 5 was seen being tested out in public on the streets of China. From what we can tell in the leaked photo, the Mini 5 is going to look a lot like the Mini 4 Pro, so there won’t be any major design changes there. But this time, DJI might include a LiDAR sensor which Jasper Ellens already mentioned back in December. That’s a big deal because it’ll help the drone avoid obstacles better, especially in low-light situations.
